Welcome to The Gobo Project!

Here at Infinite Eye, we photograph a lot of business professionals and enjoy hearing their stories. Stories of how they got started, things they have learned and difficulties they had to overcome and of course stories of success.

Listening to each person’s story learn what makes them happy, who their perfect business referral is or what their dreams for the future are. This allows us to not only provide a more relaxed positive experience for them but also allows us to better get to know and connect with some pretty amazing people

That is where the idea for Gobo Project started. We love hearing these stories from some awesome individuals and we wanted to create a space where others could also have an opportunity to hear and experience these stories.

What is a “gobo”?

In film, cinematography or our industry, photography, a gobo is an object placed in front of a light source to shape or focus the emitted light and shadow in an interesting way for others to see. Sometimes referred to as a “go-between”.

For the Gobo Project, we are defining gobo a bit differently.

The Gobo Project 

We believe that small business owners, energetic entrepreneurs and “go-getter” type business professionals are “light sources” and sharing their light with others benefits everyone. Their energy is contagious and we want their stories to be heard by others through a Gobo Self-Lead Interview.

By sharing each of these individuals’ “light” or story, their experiences can be shared with and benefited by others. This is beneficial not only for the individuals learning about another’s experiences and life-learned lessons but also for the storyteller who also grows and advances from the experience of sharing.

The Gobo Project Goal:

To provide a positive venue where business professionals are empowered to shine their light for others to see, grow and advance professionally.
