> What is iris photography?

Iris Photography is a specialized field of photography that captures high-resolution, high detailed, enlarged images of the coloured portion of your eye.

> Who can have their iris photographed?

Anyone who can use an eye doctors headrest. All you have to do is rest your chin in the headrest,and hold your eye open for a short period.

> How old do you need to be?

Typically,age 5 and up, but we have photographed younger. If your are wanting to capture the iris of someone under the age of 5 and you feel they can use the headrest with a bit of your help, please contact us. We will do what we can for you.

> What is all included with a session?

No matter how many in your group come, everyone gets the royal treatment. Each person gets dedicated shoot time where our trained iris photographer works with you to get the absolute best image of your iris. Then, you get to see the incredible details we capture by seeing a straight-out-of-camera version of your iris. This is then edited to the highest standards and all the details are brought out. Finally, everyone in your group gets a print of their very own of their amazingly unique iris.
Additional prints, product and digitals are avaialble through on-site and online services.

> How many can come to a iris photography session?

Our different sessions can accomnodate different sizes of groups. Session bookings are available for individulas, couples/friends and families/groups. Please book accordingly to what you are needing.

> Can an iris photo be used in an iris scanner?

No. The finished product is an "artists rendition". We bring out your amazing natural iris details but the finished image is not an exact replica. It is an art piece that is unique to you!

> Is it safe for my eyes?

Yes. We use controlled light for the photo and it is not shown dirtectly into your eye.

> Can I wear contacts during the session?

While you can wear contacts, we recommend that you do not. They can interfer with getting a high detail image of your iris.

> What can I do with my iris?

Amazing things! You have options of prints, prodcucts, gifts, cards, wall art, digitals, advanced digital edits, and more. All this allows you to create your own amazing art piece just the way you want it.
