Each person is photographed individually using professional macro photography equipment. The actual photography only takes a few minutes per person, so the total session time depends on how many people are being photographed. During the session, we can also point out some of the interesting details and features we see in your iris.

Yes. Irisium uses professional photography equipment and a controlled photographic process. Nothing touches your eye during the photography. We have also reviewed our process with eye-care professionals to help ensure that the experience is both comfortable and safe.

People sometimes ask because the finished images can look almost unreal, but no they are not AI-generated. Every Irisium image begins with a real photograph of your actual iris. Each image is professionally edited and developed into a unique piece of artwork using the details captured from your own eye.
