True story - photography is becoming easier to learn but there is a difference between a photographer and professional photographer. Don't get us wrong, we don't think that only "professionals" should be called "photographers." Many people with amazing cameras are taking incredible images, but there is a difference between a photographer and professional photographer when it come to hiring them for your company.

If you have followed Infinite Eye for the last few years, you may know that we work with an amazing organization called The Edmonton Stingers - and we LOVE IT! Once under the guidance of the CEBL, they are now locally owned and operated by The Stingers Entertainment Group and we are so proud to be a part of their family. With big interest and involvement from the community, they are a class act through and through. We want to highlight them this month, well... because they're awesome and also they kick off their 2023 season starting at the end of the month. What's a gobo you may ask?
A gobo in photography is an object placed inside or in front of a light source to control the shape of the emitted light and it's shadow. Our Gobo is a little bit different. With The Gobo Project, we want to connect local businesses with one another and help them find their perfect client. Our Gobo is to showcase local businesses and business owners: how they got started, challenges they faced and dive into the why they do what they do. We want to share community events, local fundraisers, events for a greater cause. It's about building and growing our community.
